General information

I'm a researcher in the physics group at NVIDIA working with Matthias Müller-Fischer, Nuttapong Chentanez and Miles Macklin. We develop modules for the GPU accelerated NVIDIA GameWorks library such as the PhysX, Clothing, Destruction and Fluids packages. My research interests include real-time physically-based simulation, vector graphics and realtime rendering.
I received a Masters (2001) and a Phd (2005) in computer science at the University of Rostock. Afterwards, I worked as a postdoc with Michael Wimmer at TU Vienna (Austria), Peter Wonka at Arizona State University (Phoenix,USA), and Chris Wojtan at IST Austria.
I'm located at IST Austria in Klosterneuburg near Vienna (Austria).
